We Built This Because We Needed It Too


We’re Shiloh and Charlotte, the founders of Pets in Apartments, who grew from our life with Kingsley in high-rises from Providence to NYC, Hoboken, Edgewater, and Tampa, FL. After years of elevators, balconies, dog parks, and small-space surprises. We have been on this journey for 7 years and really hands-on.

We’re Shiloh and Charlotte, the founders of Pets in Apartments, and this brand grew from more than an idea. It grew from real life.

For nearly 20 years, apartment living has been home. From Regency Plaza in Providence to NYC, Hoboken, and now Water Street in Tampa, we have lived through almost every version of city pet life.

Elevator walks. Balcony checks. Dog parks beside high-rises. Long hallways. Tight storage. Noise from neighbors. Date nights planned around the dog. And a very smart rescue named Kingsley who taught us that apartment pets need more than cute bowls and toys.

Over the years, he also became our best teacher. He learned doors, crates, elevators, food storage, and every weakness in an apartment setup. Because of him, we learned how much the right products, routines, and safety tools matter.

Pets in Apartments was built from that experience.
